Early on November 16, 2010, around 1:00 am in the morning, Liz awoke with terrible chest pains and indigestion. When she couldn't stand it anymore, we got in the car and drove to the emergency room at Boca Communiy Hospital, where we stayed until she was discharged at 4:30 am. Liz was diagnosed with acid reflux, so we headed to a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy where I picked her up some Maalox. We finally went to bed around 5:00 am. Little did we know that was not the last time we would be visiting the hospital that day.
Later in the morning, Liz called her doctor to inform him of the previous night's events. He told her to check back into the hospital for further testing. That afternoon, Liz was told she would be having an emergency C-section. She was preped and we went in for surgery around 3:00 pm. The rest is hisory. Davis Sidney was born at 3:18, weighing in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces, and stretching 18 inches long.
He is so adorable! I am thrilled for the whole family and can't wait to snuggle with Davis!
